Estimates & Pricing

All estimates provided by AllStar Lighting are based on the information available at the time of quotation and are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. Any additional work requested by the customer or unforeseen site conditions may result in additional charges, which will be discussed and approved prior to completion.

Deposit & Payment Terms

A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total project cost is required before materials are ordered and installation is scheduled.

The remaining 75% balance is due upon completion of installation unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

Late payments may be subject to interest charges and collection fees where permitted by law.

Installation Scheduling

AllStar Lighting strives to complete installations as efficiently as possible. Installation timelines are estimates and may vary due to weather conditions, seasonal demand, material availability, property accessibility, or circumstances beyond our control.

Most installations are completed within 3–4 weeks after receipt of the required deposit; however, specific dates cannot be guaranteed.

Customer Responsibilities

The customer agrees to:

• Provide safe and reasonable access to the property.
• Ensure access to electrical power during installation.
• Obtain any required approvals from landlords, property managers, or homeowner associations.
• Disclose any known electrical, structural, or access-related concerns prior to installation.

Warranty

Permanent LED Lighting System

AllStar Lighting provides a 5-Year Limited Warranty on the LED lighting system against defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use.

Hardware Warranty

Mounting tracks, brackets, clips, fasteners, and related hardware are covered by a Lifetime Limited Warranty against manufacturing defects.

Warranty Exclusions

This warranty does not cover:

• Physical damage caused by misuse, accidents, vandalism, or negligence.
• Damage resulting from power surges, lightning strikes, floods, fires, or other acts of nature.
• Unauthorized repairs, alterations, or modifications.
• Cosmetic wear that does not affect product functionality.
• Damage caused by third-party contractors or service providers.

Warranty coverage is limited to the repair or replacement of defective components at the sole discretion of AllStar Lighting.

Service & Warranty Claims

Customers must notify AllStar Lighting promptly upon discovering any defect or malfunction. Warranty service will be scheduled within a reasonable timeframe based on availability and seasonal demand.

Cancellation Policy

Right to Cancel

Customers may cancel their agreement in accordance with applicable Alberta consumer protection legislation.

Prior to Installation

If installation has not begun and materials have not been ordered, refunds may be issued at the discretion of AllStar Lighting, less any administrative, planning, or consultation costs incurred.

After Materials Are Ordered

Once materials have been ordered, fabricated, or allocated for the project, all or part of the deposit may be retained to recover costs incurred.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AllStar Lighting's liability shall be limited to the amount paid by the customer for the installation. Under no circumstances shall AllStar Lighting be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from the use or inability to use the lighting system.

Force Majeure

AllStar Lighting shall not be responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, natural disasters, labor shortages, supply chain disruptions, utility interruptions, government restrictions, or acts of God.

Acceptance of Terms

By accepting a quotation, paying a deposit, or proceeding with installation, the customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
